Indianapolis, Ind. (August 4, 2004) Red Bull Cheever Racing driver's Ed Carpenter and Alex Barron visited Riley Children's Hospital of Indianapolis last week to take part in two of their weekly-televised programs. Each program appears on a closed circuit channel aired through the entire hospital.

Carpenter hosted their weekly bingo segment, called "Brickyard Bingo," which awarded beanie-baby prizes to all the winners.

"I really enjoyed hosting the bingo segment," the native of Indianapolis said. "It was a huge thrill to share my enthusiasm for racing with the kids. I also got a good laugh from watching Alex fumble through his broadcast!"

After "Brickyard Bingo" Barron hosted one of Riley Children's Hospital's most watched programs called "Teen Beat." The highlight of the show came when Barron did his best surfing impression during the Beach Boys song "Little Deuce Coupe."

"I thought the show was a great time," the driver of the No. 51 car said. "I learned a lot about some of the artists that I was playing, and watching Ed host the Bingo segment was entertaining. Going to Riley is one of the most fulfilling events that I have gone to as a driver."

Barron and Carpenter are becoming regulars at the Indianapolis-based hospital. In the past three months they have visited the patients during several events including the Indianapolis 500 Party and The Half-Price Books Fundraiser.
