BEDFORD PARK, Ill., February 10, 2000- Blueprint Racing Enterprises, LLC announced today that it has placed an order for a 2000 model year G Force Indy Racing car. The team principals met with G Force Precision Engineering LTD officials at the Walt Disney World Speedway on January 29. Blueprint's American Hotel Register Company/ ZMax #27 finished twelfth in the Delphi 200- the opening round of the 2000 Northern Light Indy Racing Series season- utilizing a 1999 G Force chassis.
The addition of the 2000 chassis is the final step in making the American Hotel Register Company/ Blueprint entry a victory lane contender each time it turns a wheel.
"In conversations with our engineering staff we came to the conclusion that the track support is superior, at this time, with G Force," explained Blueprint Racing co-owner Ed Rachanski. "We look forward to running the remainder of the 2000 season with the new G Force. We think it will be very strong and the fact that it won the first race proves that out."
Keith Sanders, partner to Rachanski, reiterated the team's feelings. "I'm excited. This is our third G Force and after watching the 2000 cars at Disney, we can see that the 2000 G Force is the way to go."
The Brad McCanless managed team will take delivery of the new car in March. The 2000 G Force will see its first competition with the American Hotel Register/ ZMax/ Blueprint Racing team at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on April 22.
The team will match the new G Force chassis with Blueprint's in-house, Sonny Meyer-built Oldsmobile Aurora racing engines.
A 2000 G Force chassis won the first race of the 2000 Northern Light Indy Racing Series with Robbie Buhl. G Force chassis, of Fontwell England and Braselton, Georgia, have won 12 of the 30 IRL events held since 1997, including its inaugural event as a car manufacturer.
