Dario Franchitti, #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Today was a normal test session for the ArcaEx team. We tried some different things on the #27 ArcaEx car, looking for a nice, comfortable race balance. We also did a couple of long runs. We're reasonably happy and all in all it was a good day for the ArcaEx team."
Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The XM Satellite Radio team had a pretty good day. We tried a lot of things with the #7 XM Satellite radio car; not all of them were faster than what we started the day with, but the good news is that we had a pretty good baseline. I'd still like to improve the car a little bit more before we come back here for the race weekend."
Dan Wheldon, #26 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I think the Klein Tools/Jim Beam team did a good job with the car and I'm happy with the lap we put up. It's always good to be back in Phoenix. It's a tough track and will be a difficult race. I think today's conditions don't necessarily represent what this race is going to be like. I think the downforce numbers are going to be significantly different and that is going to change the way the car handles."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Phoenix has been very good to Team 7-Eleven. We were just trying to run a lot of laps and were making some big changes to the #11 Team 7-Eleven car. Sometimes the changes were good and sometimes they weren't. I was pleased with the lap time we put up. Obviously, we have a good car, but we just have to keep improving."
