IRL: Andretti Green Racing Phoenix open test, day two notes

Dan Wheldon, ...

Dan Wheldon, #26 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone

"For these conditions, I think the Klein Tools/Jim Beam car is really pretty good, but for qualifying and racing I think it needs to be better. It's difficult to get a read because the temperatures are not near what they are going to be for the race. It was a positive test and I enjoyed my time back here in Phoenix."

Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone

"We're reasonably happy with the test. The XM Satellite Radio team tried a lot of things today and toward the end of the day we found some things we liked. We got completely through our testing program and think we have a good idea of how the car will respond to changes."

Dario Franchitti, #27 ArcaEx Dallara/Honda/Firestone

"This was a productive test for us. The ArcaEx team learned a lot of things that hopefully will help us when we come back to race here. The conditions were a lot better today than what we will see at the race. The ArcaEx car was fairly fast which bodes well for us for the race here, and overall it was a very productive two days for us."

Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone

"Today went very well and overall I think the Team 7-Eleven car looks pretty good. I'd like to see what it's going to be like when we get back here because you can never predict what will happen here. But overall, we had two productive days of testing. I think we have very good information to take back to the shop and work on the car."
