Bryan Herta, #7 XM Satellite Radio Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"I don't think we really improved today. It was a disappointing two days for us. For some reason, we could never get the car going right. We have some work to do but I'm confident the XM Satellite Radio car will be ready for the oval test on Sunday."
Marco Andretti, #26 NYSE Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"We were hoping to be a bit faster today, but we ended up chasing a loose condition with the #26 NYSE car. We improved things for our last run of the day by going to Dario's (Franchitti) setup, but then we encountered a soft brake pedal. The times weren't there but I'm not going to be disappointed about being 12th on the speed chart because my goal was to gain a feel for the car and how it responds to different setup changes and spend more time working with the NYSE crew. And, we accomplished all that so I'd say it was a pretty successful test."
Dario Franchitti, #27 Klein Tools/Jim Beam Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"Today was a lot better day than yesterday for the Klein Tools/Jim Beam team. We're still not where we'd like to be but we're learning things, so that's good. It was unfortunate at the end because we wanted to go out there and put up a good time but a lot of guys were driving in the grass, so the circuit was covered with sand and it wasn't the best time to put up the lap."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The Team 7-Eleven crew struggled to find the right setup the past two days, but we don't race here. We were merely trying to simulate certain parts of the course that are similar to other places that we run. To say that I'm happy with being seventh would not be true. But we have dominated so much over the past two years that everyone has had their sights set on us. We have some work to do to get where we want to be, but there is still plenty of time before we have our first road course race."
