St. Louis, August 26- 2000 Rookie of the Year Airton Dare' has claimed a top 10 position in each of his completed races this season. Once again, fuel strategy and quick pit stops earned young gun Airton Dare' and TeamXtreme Racing a top 10 finish.

On lap 42, the 1-800-BAR NONE crew managed an 11.4-second pit stop that included a change of tires, additional fuel and a front wing adjustment. The #88 car's handling improved after this quick stop and Dare' worked his way through the field. His aggressive driving pushed the #88 car to the front of the pack on lap 108 where he led the race.

"The car was strong from the start," says Dare'. "The crew worked so hard the whole weekend and they deserve a lot of the credit. Our quick pit stops kept us in the top 10 for most of the race. The car was balanced, had power and good grip on the exits. Everything just fell into place this weekend."

On lap #177, the 1-800-BAR NONE car came in for a splash-and-go pit stop.

"The last stop was representative of the entire day's pit stops," says General Manager John Lopes. "We did a 7-second stop for a quick splash of fuel and then made a dash back on track. We were able to maintain a top 10 position, compete for the spot ahead and bring the car home safely."

Today's finish places TeamXtreme at position 9 in the IRL points standings with a total of 202 points.
