Alex Tagliani on the Iowa Corn Indy 250 Qualifying:
"The team has shown their strength again today. I think our competitiveness on the ovals is a pleasant surprise for all of us. The only oval where we've had a problem was Texas and other than that we've been pretty consistent on our pace at the ovals. I keep repeating myself, but the quality of the program, the engineers, the preparation by the crew are all flawless. This weekend, we come to a track I've never been to before, and within two sessions we're on pace and we have a good qualifying which is very impressive. From what the engineers have said this track changes a bit and gets harder each year to have more than one groove so the race tomorrow will be about getting consistency in the car and doing a full segment on the tires and keeping the balance consistent. The reason for that is that the track is so small, so when you are driving the car the more consistent the car is the lower you can run on the track and make it harder for your opponent to get by you as they will have to take the outside line. So our hope for tomorrow is to be consistent over the whole segment and I think that will be the key to a good race."
Rob Edwards on the Iowa Corn Indy 250 Qualifying:
"We are very happy with our qualifying effort especially since the race at Texas didn't go as planned. The guys bounced back, Allen and the engineers did an excellent job preparing for Iowa as did Alex. This is a rookie track for Alex and he did a great job in the two practice sessions learning this track as it is a tricky place. Alex worked very methodically with his engineers and ended up with a good car. We're happy with where we've qualified and are looking forward to the race tomorrow."
