Alex Tagliani on today's race:
"The team did a fantastic job and the Bowers and Wilkins car was too quick. On one restart I guess I turned it wrong and Saavedra didn't give me a lot of room out there and he was a lap down, and I got into the marbles and lost 10 positions. Once you're back there and with the downforce level we were running it was very difficult to get back to the front. The team has just done a fantastic job all month long and I'm so proud of the boys. They gave me a good car. We were hoping to win it and we were pretty aggressive with our downforce levels and we were going to stay up front. It just got too hard when we dropped back in the pack with our downforce to get back to the front. The team did a fantastic job all month long and I think we can leave this place with our heads held high and go to Texas and score more points and get up in the Championship."
Rob Edwards, General Manager, on today's race:
"It's been a disappointing day from what we hoped and where we started. I don't know yet what happened with Bruno's car as I haven't had a chance to chat with him since I was calling Alex's race. Tag was strong early on and lost some ground early on in the restarts but the guys on the stand did a great job on the fuel mileage and figured out what we needed to do to get the #77 car home. We managed to salvage a top-ten out of it. It was disappointing on the day but when you look at the two weeks as a whole it's been an excellent effort from the whole team and we're happy with that and hopefully we'll stay up there in points and move on to Texas."
