The rookies for the 2013 Indy 500 will not have orientation on April 11th due to early prediction of inclement weather.

"We have been monitoring the weather reports in Indianapolis to make sure the conditions would be suitable for ample on-track activity," said Brian Barnhart, president of operations and strategy, INDYCAR. "With the strong chance for rain and lower ambient temperatures, we felt it was best to postpone our Rookie Orientation Program until a later date."

Officials will announce the rescheduled date for ROP soon. Four drivers - A.J. Allmendinger, Conor Daly, Carlos Munoz and Tristan Vautier - are scheduled to participate.
