The Pirtek Team Murray entry that Matt Brabham will attempt to qualify for the 100th running of the Indy 500 next year has been officially unveiled.
After artwork of the Pirtek livery was released when the news broke last week, the team took the opportunity to officially pull the covers off the finished product at the PRI Show in Indianapolis, as well as announcing a partnership with the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation.
The foundation, established in honour of the late Chris Kyle of American Sniper fame, will run signage on the #61 entry at Indy next year. Kyle’s wife and executive director of the foundation Taya Kayle was on the hand for the unveiling.
“Chris Kyle was an American hero,” said Brabham.
“Everyone knows what sort of a gladiator he was, so to have Taya standing with us today is a real honour.
“Welcoming the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation and the military community along for the ride with Pirtek Team Murray is something really special.”
