Success at Detroit: Herta has chalked up three top eleven starts and three top ten finishes in his six visits to Belle Isle. Herta will take the green flag for the seventh time this weekend at the Tenneco Automotive Grand Prix. Herta's best results at Belle Isle came in 1997 while driving for Team Rahal, when he started ninth and finished seventh.

Herta at the Ballpark: Herta and pal Alfonso Ribeiro will kick of the festivities at this Thursday's Tigers vs. Pirates game. Herta will throw the first pitch at the Tigers Stadium, while Ribeiro, who is also Herta's spotter, will sing the National Anthem at the game.

Ford Territory: Home of Ford Motor Company, Herta will make his xx Champ Car start with Ford power at the Grand Prix of Detroit. Herta and Kenny Brack are the winningest (2) active Ford drivers, and Herta has earned more pole positions (7) than any other active Ford driver. Herta has been behind the wheel of a Ford powered Champ Car x of his eight years competing in the Fedex

Herta on Detroit: "The last two races have been very frustrating and we are definitely focused on turning things around. Japan was disappointing, but we felt like we learned a lot in the process. I am really looking forward to Milwaukee; it is a great track. I think we should be in pretty good shape. It will be important to start up front, and with the exception of Japan we have been qualifying very well on the ovals, so hopefully we can come away with some points this weekend."
