motorsport.com caught up with Tony Kanaan, driving the #44 McDonald's Honda-Reynard, and asked him after the Molson Indy Vancouver and asked him how his day went.
"It was a pretty busy day, I think. Everybody took a gamble. We tried to stay on the track and we did. I'm not happy with 9th place, but on a day like that [with the changing track conditions], it's all a lottery. You don't know what's going to happen, so it was a pretty reasonable result.
"In the really wet, it was ok. When the track started to dry out that was a problem. The track was almost dry, we had the rain tires and that was really difficult for us."
Kanaan qualified 15th and finished 9th.
