Mario Dominguez - Driver, Car 55
"Vancouver is a great place for a race - the city is beautiful, the fans are enthusiastic, and the atmosphere of the entire weekend is just fantastic. Last year we had been running well in the race but had a mechanical problem with the car that set us back. But we've come a long way since then as a team and with the testing we've done and the advances we've made on developing the car I think we should be more competitive this year. We still don't have the best car on the bumpy street circuits so we'll have to work hard for a good result and hopefully improve our standing in the championship."
Roberto Moreno - Driver, Car 4
"Vancouver is someplace where I have experienced the best and the worst, really! In 2000 I finished last in the race but then in 2001, even after having an engine problem in qualifying and gridding 8th, I won the race! That was a difficult race; the race didn't really take shape until after the last pit stop and then it was between me and Mauricio Gugelmin and Gil de Ferran. I had to fight hard to win that one - I think I passed Gil three times for the lead before I finally won! Vancouver is also a place where the memory of Greg Moore is very strong for me. Greg brought so much to racing and still had so much more to give. He was very much in my mind during the last part of the race in 2001 and I dedicated that win to his memory. As for the track itself, I guess you could say it is quite technical because it is very bumpy and to be quick there you must be able to ride the bumps without losing speed. For me it seems that the more difficult the track the better I do so I'm looking forward to this race. As always, the fans in Vancouver are very enthusiastic and educated about their racing and it's a great city so it really has everything going for it."
