Shinji Nakano, Driver -- #52 Alpine/Mitsuba Honda/Lola/Bridgestone:
"I was happy to hear that Adrian seems to be okay and I hope the x-rays come back okay. I was worrying when I was watching the monitor and he wasn't getting out of the car after the accident. Then I heard that he was talking, and I was very happy about that. As a group, we are working very well together and Adrian and myself are working very well together. I was really glad to hear that he was okay. Hopefully he can come back at Mid-Ohio and be 100 percent.
"It was a shame I spun at the end of the race. It was my mistake. I had a little problem with the brakes towards the end, but I had to keep pushing hard. The car was good from the beginning [of the race] and I had a lot of confidence. I have to say thanks to the team for what they did this weekend. They improved the car a lot since Friday and I had a great car for the race. Overall, we are still going forward as a team and that's the most important thing. I feel that we are getting stronger and stronger. If we keep working hard like this, I think we can get a really good result in the future."
