* In just six races with RuSPORT this season, veteran driver Michel Jourdain has secured a number of firsts for his new team. The Mexican earned the team's first podium at Milwaukee and led the team's first official laps before contact ended his podium bid in Cleveland last weekend. Jourdain is still looking to give RuSPORT another first -- its first win.

* Jourdain piloted his #9 Gigante Champ Car to top-four finishes at the three Canadian events in 2003 starting with a second place finish at Toronto. He was quick all weekend qualifying third. Jourdain makes his eighth Champ Car start at Toronto this weekend.

* American AJ Allmendinger capitalized on fellow rookie Justin Wilson's first lap misfortune at Cleveland to pull within one point of the Brit in the Rookie of the Year standings. Allmendinger has two consecutive top-five starts and three consecutive top-six finishes to-date.

* RuSPORT enjoyed the Toronto Toyota Atlantic race weekend in 2003. The team's drivers finished 1-2 with Allmendinger capturing the lead from pole in the process of setting a new track record.

* The Toronto event is a home race for many RuSPORT team members including team president Jeremy Dale who hails from Toronto.
