PAUL TRACY, #26 TEAM KOOL GREEN HONDA/REYNARD:
(19th with a lap-average speed of 119.524 mph / 59.305 seconds)
"We improved the car from this morning's practice, but neither Dario (Franchitti), Michael (Andretti) or myself had a good session this afternoon. We've got a lot of room for improvement. The basic problem is understeer. We tried a lot of different fixes this afternoon, and though we made it better, we've still got too much. The rear of the car is really good, but we just can't get the front end to stick. I'll sit down with the Team KOOL Green engineers this evening and try to come up with some things to try tomorrow morning. We need to get a good qualifying position because it can be difficult to pass here in the race."
DARIO FRANCHITTI, #27 TEAM KOOL GREEN HONDA/REYNARD:
(22nd with a lap-average speed of 119.229 mph / 59.452 seconds)
"We just had a difficult day today. We're trying to get some balance in the car - we're really struggling for grip. The Team KOOL Green engineers came up with some things we tried this afternoon and we've got a few more to try tomorrow. It's one of those things, we're searching around trying to find something that will work. We're obviously not very happy with the car and we'll keep trying until we find it. We generally have a good setup for here and I always like racing here, it's a beautiful track and it's loads of fun to drive - when the car is right."
