Montreal, Quebec, June 7, 2000 Currently in the heaviest part of their CART racing series' schedule with eight races in the next 10 weeks Team Player's drivers and crew will certainly be making effective use of their time over the next few days. Team Player's will be taking part in two days of testing for CART teams at Mid-Ohio prior to heading for Bagotville for a speed showdown between the Player's Champ Car and a CF-18 fighter plane as part of Ville de La Baie's International Air Show.

The testing sessions, organized by the CART series, will see all of the FedEx CART Championship teams in Lexington, Ohio, starting today, for workouts on the Mid-Ohio road course, the site of Round 13 in the championship, on August 13.

Meanwhile, the two Team Player's drivers will be arriving in Bagotville on Friday morning for a unique experience, as they will be invited on board a Canadian Air Force CF-18 aircraft for a flight that is expected to last approximately 45 minutes.

In the afternoon, the drivers will lend a hand to Team Player's engineers to fine-tune the car set-ups for the speed showdown against the CF-18, which will take place at about 12:10 p.m. on Saturday to officially open Ville de La Baie's International Air Show.

On Saturday morning, fans will be able to meet Patrick Carpentier and Alex Tagliani, as the two drivers conduct an autograph session between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. alongside the Team Player's transporter.
