PAUL TRACY, #26 TEAM KOOL GREEN HONDA-REYNARD:
(13th with a lap time of 26.386 seconds / 173.274 mph)
"We made a lot of changes to the KOOL car from the morning to the afternoon practice and the car felt better. Then we tried the spare car at the end of the afternoon session and though we didn't really get a good read on it, my gut feeling is that the spare car's configuration is going to be better suited to this track. So we'll switch my main car over to that configuration tonight and see how it goes in practice tomorrow morning."
DARIO FRANCHITTI, #27 TEAM KOOL GREEN HONDA-REYNARD:
(11th with a lap time of 26.310 seconds / 173.774 mph)
"I didn't get to test here because it rained the day we were here, so this morning we were just looking for a basic balance. We didn't really get it in the first practice, but this afternoon we were a bit closer. I'm still not 100 percent happy with the car, although we're definitely a lot closer. The track is a lot slicker than I would have thought. In fact, the conditions of the track are changing a lot, so we're chasing the track, as well as trying to find a good balance. Paul (Tracy) and I will sit down with the Team KOOL Green engineers, sort through the data and come up with some things to try tomorrow morning."
