"What can I say -- we gambled on slicks too early. The rain had stopped, the track was drying and it looked like we were making the right decision. But hey, you've got to know when to hold 'em and know when to fold 'em. Today, we should've stood pat on rain tires for a little bit longer. It's disappointing. We felt as a team like we had a lot of momentum coming in here after running strong at Mid-Ohio and Chicago. We'll be back next week at Laguna to get after it."

MIKE HELD (Co-owner) "Looked treacherous out there. I'm glad I wasn't driving. I was spotting in Turn Three and I could see how much he was struggling through the corner. The back end was breaking loose as soon as he hit the throttle. It's almost like he had all or nothing, and that makes for a handful."
