ROBBY GORDON - "We just didn't have it all weekend. The car was awful in traffic. I could run decently in clean air, but once we ran in a group I couldn't hold it. We'd get caught outside and I'd have to let people go by. I couldn't do a thing but get back in line and try to find clean air. It's frustrating. We had high hopes for this race coming in."

MIKE HELD (Co-Owner) - "We knew there would be days like this, but I have to give Robby credit - he hung in there all day and sucked up a lot of pride. It's tough to do that, especially when you're used to running up front. It's a long road with a new team, but days like this build character and we hope that comes back to us."

JOHN MENARD (Co-Owner) "We thought we had a good thing early when we gained our lap back during the first yellow. Robby seemed to hang with the leaders in that first stint. But ultimately, the car just wasn't working in traffic, and that hurt us. These things don't happen overnight. I gave Rob a pat on the back and told him I was proud to see him fight through the race and bring home the car in one piece. He showed a lot of maturity today."
