With just three races remaining in the 2002 FedEx Championship Series season Visteon/Patrick Racing driver Oriol Servia is looking to produce some top results beginning with this weekend's Honda Indy 300 on the temporary street circuit in Surfer's Paradise, Australia.
*The 2002 Honda Indy 300 will be Servia's 51st career CART start, eighth for Visteon/Patrick Racing and 11th of the 2002 FedEx Championship Series season.
*Servia has finished in the points in six of his ten starts this year and in the top-ten four times with a best showing of fourth place at Rockingham, England. He is 18th in the championship standings with 30 points.
*Servia ran the first three races of the 2002 season with Pac West Racing. He then sat out the next six contests before signing with Visteon/Patrick Racing. After a five-race trial, Servia had his contract extended for the remainder of the 2002 FedEx Championship Series season.
*This will be Servia's third Champ Car start in Australia. In 2000 he started 14th and finished ninth. In 2001 he started 12th and finished 25th.
*The 2002 FedEx Championship Series season is Servia's third CART season.
*Servia, 28, a native of Pals, Catalonia, Spain, resides in Miami, Florida.
