WEST ALLIS, Wis. - Sigma Autosport driver Oriol Servia's hopes of a top finish were dashed when he was assessed a drive-through penalty by CART officials for running over his air hose during a pit stop in the Miller Lite 225.

The problem occurred on Servia's first pit stop of the race on Lap 98, and one lap later Servia was penalized for having his left rear tire run over the air hose. He was running in 3rd place at the time of the penalty and getting good fuel mileage in his #22 Sigma Autosport Lola-Ford/Cosworth.

Servia ultimately finished 14th one lap down. He has finished all five races this season.

"Well it's just one more thing. It seems that every race there is something new that happens to us. As I said before it can be tough on a new team and we have to go through these problems, but better times will come. We really had a chance to be up there and quite honestly I thought we could be in the top five. We were getting good fuel mileage throughout the race." - Oriol Servia, Sigma Autosport Driver

"We definitely deserved better than fourteenth place. Oriol did a great job driving and we were doing very well with our fuel and strategy. It's too bad this happened, but we'll learn from this and bounce back at Detroit." - Paul Cherry, Sigma Autosport Managing Director
