* RuSPORT is riding a wave of serious momentum heading into this weekend's event. The new team garnered its first double podium in just seven starts at Champ Car's last stop in Vancouver. Michel Jourdain Jr. finished 2nd in the #9 Gigante car and teammate A.J. Allmendinger brought home the #10 Western Union machine in 3rd. Vancouver marked Michel's second podium of the season.

* Both RuSPORT drivers come to Road America comfortably in the top-ten in the Driver's Championship. A.J. currently sits 8th in the standings and Michel is 10th.

* Allmendinger's podium finish in Vancouver pushed the young American ahead in the coveted Jim Trueman Rookie of the Year standings. A.J. is now ahead of experienced British pilot Justin Wilson.

* Both A.J. and Michel consider the picturesque Road America circuit one of their favorites. A.J.'s last visit here was in 2002 driving in the Barber Dodge Pro Series, when he captured a podium finish after starting 10th and going on to win the BDPS title. Although Michel failed to finish here last year due to contact, Jourdain is eager to return for some retribution. He has finished in the top ten twice here and is confident the #9 Gigante crew can deliver this weekend.
