Champ Car Joins Digital Orchid To Provide Real-Time Racing Information To Fans Via Wireless Technology

INDIANAPOLIS (January 31, 2005) -- Fans of the Champ Car World Series have a myriad of options for keeping up on the latest happenings with the Bridgestone Presents The Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford, both on and off the track.

Television partners CBS, NBC and SPEED Channel, the official series website www.champcarworldseries.com and its new Race Director feature and even the Kangaroo TV hand-held video screens at the track give fans up-to-date information on the series. Now fans will have another option that they can carry in their pockets thanks to an innovative new feature from Digital Orchid.

Digital Orchid has created Champ Car Everywhere, which will provide the latest in real-time Champ Car information to fans via their wireless applications such as cell phones and other hand-held technologies. The service will provide video and audio from the race track as well as updated leaderboards, standings, schedules and driver information directly to the fan, and will also include other Champ Car-themed products such as ring tones and wallpapers for the wireless application. Champ Car Everywhere will officially launch and be made publicly available as of February 2005 over all major carrier and handsets.

Digital Orchid will offer Champ Car content to over 1.2 billion customers through the TODOMO multi-language platform, allowing fans around the world to follow the Champ Car World Series.
