Tony Kanaan, #21 LCI Reynard-Honda: (Qualified 15th) "We made some major changes to the car between sessions and it turned out to be a big improvement. Because we didn't test here, we used for today for testing. We found a good direction so I am very happy. I am really not disappointed with my lap times. We dropped around 0.6 seconds from this morning. We are getting there and we just need to keep going. The engineers did a pretty good job today."
Airton Dare, #1 Banestado/LCI Lola: (Qualified 7th) "We still have a few things to improve on the car for tomorrow, but I think we will be okay. The biggest problem for us right now is understeer."
Cristiano da Matta, #2 Medley/LCI Lola: (Qualified 1st) "I was able to put a good lap together, but the difference is not as big as it looks. We still have room to improve but everyone does as well. The competition is going to be tough but for sure I think we are going to be there this weekend.
"The car is good but I think it could have been a little bit better. We made a change from the morning session which made the car a little bit loose, but we know what we changed and tomorrow morning we are going to go back. Hopefully the car is going to be better."
