"Well, at least we improved the car a bit! Like I said yesterday, we are just really working on getting better at this track - both the car and my driving. We are definitely closer to the competitive times but we haven't found the exact combination yet. My focus now is on the race - it is a long one and we just have to focus on doing the best job we can there; put in a clean race and finish in the points."
* G.I. Joe's 200 marks Domínguez's 6th start in the CART FedEx Championship Series.
* This will be Dominguez's fourth start on the Portland International Raceway circuit, following three Dayton Indy Lights events. His best finish here was a sixth place in 2000.
* Domínguez currently stands 19th in the Drivers Championship with two points. Fellow Indy Lights graduate Townsend Bell took the lead in the Rookie of the Year competition last week with his seventh place finish at Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca.
The Champ Cars return to the track for the final 30-minute warm up session at 9:00 am local time on Sunday morning. The green flag will drop on the 110-lap event at 12:30 pm local time/3:30 pm ET.
This Sunday's live broadcast of the CART FedEx Championship Series G.I. Joe's 200 from Portland International Raceway will be the second of six events to air on CBS. Coverage begins at 3:30pm ET while live audio and timing and scoring will be available at www.cart.com.
