* Today was Mario's sixth Champ Car start.
* Domínguez earned three points in today's race, bringing his season-long total to five. He stands 20th in the CART drivers' championship.
Mario Domínguez - Driver
"I was lucky on the first green flag lap to be able to get through there without getting into any trouble! One of the Ganassi cars almost got me but I was able to avoid him and get through cleanly. The car was very good today - consistent through the entire fuel stint - with the exception of when we put on the second set of tires. I don't know what it was but all of a sudden I had lots of oversteer. That's when I went off track and went down a lap - and that really set the tone for the rest of the race. It's a very long race here - the longest I've ever done - so we just continued to work hard for the rest of the race and brought it home in the points."
Keith Wiggins - Managing Director
"We had a reasonable run overall and great pit stops by the crew. Unfortunately on our second set of tires we seemed to have a problem. We just weren't able to do the lap times on that set of tires that he had done on the first set and that really hurt us. Otherwise I think we could have had a pretty good finish. In the big picture, we're happy everything went smoothly."
The Champ Car teams have one weekend off to recuperate before embarking on another three-races-in-three-weekends stint beginning at the Chicago Motor Speedway on June 29th and 30th.
