"Last time I was the guy that started the trouble on the first lap. This time it was somebody else and I got hit. The left front toe link was bent but the car wasn't that bad. It was bad on the first set of tires and that's why we had to come in [to the pits]. We made up a lot of positions and we had great pit stops. I was having a good race until that last stop when we put sticker tires on. It was much more slippery than I thought. I had no grip. It was like ice and it was hard even to go slow. I was all over the place and just trying to stay in front of [Cristiano] da Matta. The tires were too cold for the conditions and it caught me out. Coming into the back straight, I just lost it. I made a mistake and put it in the wall."

"As a team, we had a very difficult weekend. I have been struggling with a loose car since Friday. We improved the car a little bit before qualifying and before this morning, but at the start of the race I had a big, big oversteer. We adjusted the front wing and tire pressures quite a lot during the race, but still the car was way loose. I just tried to stay on the track. That was the only thing I could do. Basically we were just struggling with a loose car and Adrian had a loose car this morning. As a team, we have to improve the car a lot before Toronto and Cleveland. We are missing something in the car. There are obviously Lola teams that are quick, so we know the car has the potential. We are a little behind in terms of experience with this car than some of the other teams."

Tom Anderson, Co-Owner/Managing Director:
"Basically I don't think we ever had a real handle on the race track this weekend and were probably off a little bit more than I thought we should be. We have to go back and figure it out so we get a handle on our next road course situation. Hopefully there is not a lot of damage to Adrian's car. Adrian is okay and that's the main thing. I'm looking forward to getting this thing together and getting back on the oval at Chicago."
