Portland, Oregon, June 17, 2006 -- It was a demanding final round of qualifying for the Mi-Jack Conquest Racing Team today. Both drivers struggled with their cars while trying to improve on their starting positions for the Champ Car Grand Prix of Portland. Andrew Ranger who was 12th on the provisional grid fell to 13th with a lap time of 58.885 seconds while Charles Zwolsman put in a lap of 59.315 seconds moving him up one position to 16th on the starting grid. The race gets underway tomorrow at 3:30 ET and will be broadcast live on CBS.

Andrew Ranger #27 Mi-Jack Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone

"This morning in the practice session we were eighth and the car was getting better and better. Unfortunately by the time the qualifying session had started the weather had changed and the car was just not handling the same. We were one tenth quicker than this morning but everybody else went much quicker so it pushed us to 13th on the grid. Sunday is another day and I know that we will do better tomorrow."

Charles Zwolsman #34 Mi-Jack Ford-Cosworth/Lola/Bridgestone

"We made some progress since this morning and the car was feeling pretty good. We were quicker than yesterday, but so was everybody else so it did not really pay off. We will continue to work hard and hopefully we can do better in the race tomorrow."
