CENTRIX FINANCIAL TO BE ASSOCIATE SPONSOR OF NEWMAN/HAAS RACING FOR 2005 BRIDGESTONE PRESENTS THE CHAMP CAR WORLD SERIES POWERED BY FORD SEASON

Centennial, CO -- APRIL 6, 2005 -- Financial services firm CENTRIX Financial announced today that they will be an associate sponsor of five-time Champ Car champions Newman/Haas Racing for the 2005 Bridgestone Presents the Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford season. Their logo will appear on the No. 1 entry for 2004 Champ Car champion S0x00e9bastien Bourdais and the No. 2 entry for Bruno Junqueira, who helped bring the team its best overall finish with his third consecutive second place rank in the 2004 season standings.

"At CENTRIX we pride ourselves on being associated with winners," said Robert E. Sutton, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CENTRIX Financial. "And Newman/Haas Racing is truly a winning organization from top to bottom. I am thrilled to formalize our partnership with this team, and I am confident that this marks the beginning of a long-term association between our organizations."

In addition to a first and second place rank in 2004, Bourdais and Junqueira thrilled race fans with their performance at the 2004 CENTRIX Financial Grand Prix of Denver. Junqueira attempted to win his third consecutive race on the streets of Denver but Bourdais came away with the victory in what he called the best race of his career after having charged from the back of the pack after an opening lap collision with his teammate. The 2005 CENTRIX Financial Grand Prix of Denver will take place August 12-14, 2005.

"We welcome CENTRIX as a partner in racing, but we welcome them as partners in philanthropy as well," said Paul Newman, co-owner of Newman/Haas Racing and founder of the Association of Hole in the Wall Camps, the world's largest family of camps for children with serious illnesses and life threatening conditions. CENTRIX has been a strong supporter of the Camps in the past, and plans to increase that support in the future.

This will not be the first time CENTRIX Financial has aligned with members of Newman/Haas Racing. Team co-owner Paul Newman and Sebastien Bourdais were members of Team CENTRIX in the CENTRIX Financial Baja Challenge class of the 2004 SCORE Tecate Baja 1000. Newman teamed with CENTRIX Financial Chairman and CEO Bob Sutton as well as others in an entry that finished fourth in class while Bourdais and Pikes Peak Hill Climb winner and co-driver Rhys Millen finished third despite being sidelined for two hours due to damage sustained early in the race. CENTRIX Financial was also a co-sponsor of the Newman Racing entry in the 2005 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona in early February.
