NAZARETH, Pa. -- Despite an early black flag, driver Luiz Garcia Jr. finally conquered the challenging Nazareth Speedway, finishing 15th Saturday afternoon.

Garcia, 29, originally from Brasilia, Brazil, but who now makes his home in Aventura, Fla., started the race 22nd, his best start to date and avoided an incident at the start of the race. Unfortunately for the Brazilian, he was brought into the pits after the restart, on Lap 11 by CART officials for a consultation.

After the stop, Garcia continued in the race and finished his third of five races this season.

Quotes "It was a tough afternoon. I honestly thought CART made a bad call on me. Right now I feel I have a bullseye on my forehead. I suppose it will stay there until I go faster or get some more good results. I wasn't blocking anyone nor interfering. I was minding my on business and they (CART officials) brought me in and it ruined my afternoon." -- Luiz Garcia Jr., Driver

"We had another decent finish today. Luiz ran some competitive times with the leaders at certain stints of the race, but we lost a lot of time when he came in. We need to get up to speed, that's something we will have to work on."

"The last time we were here (April), we had last year's car. This time we had the 2000 Reynard, but had only an hour to set the car up and we didn't run on full tanks in the warm up, so we're happy overall with the result." -- Andreas Leberle, Team Owner
