Michel Jourdain Jr. was unable to defend his Molson Indy Montreal championship today, but did drive a clean, consistent race to bring home his fourth top-ten finish of the season. Jourdain Jr. and his #9 Gigante crew worked together to also grab a valuable championship point for advancing the most places during the race. Jourdain's result today continues his streak at Montreal of not finishing lower than sixth.

Michel Jourdain Jr.

"For us today, the result again shows how capable we are as a team to get top finishes with A.J. finishing fifth and me right behind him in sixth. This result enables me to continue to accumulate the championship points I need for a strong overall finish for the season. Today I had a great time out there running with Oriol (Servia). It was a challenge to beat him, but thanks to my crew, we made it. I'm now looking forward to Laguna Seca because it's a race track I really enjoy."

Carl Russo, Team Owner

"Michel just continues to carry on his championship potential he cultivated last season week in and week out with RuSPORT. Michel drove a smart, tidy, and aggressive race today and gave us another top result."
