Mario Dominguez - Driver, Car 55

Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal is a beautiful place to race. I went there for the first time last year and was absolutely impressed; not just by the circuit itself but also by the crowds. I think it's very interesting for the fans to see the Champ Cars racing on the same track as Formula One. The Canadian fans are very knowledgeable about open wheel racing and they were very pumped up and enthusiastic. For me personally, the track suits my style of driving and I think we should have a very good starting setup based on the things we have learned so far this season.

I'm excited to return to Montreal since it's been a number of years since I raced there. I first went to Circuit Gille Villeneuve in 1983 for a Toyota Atlantic race. The plan when we arrived was just to learn the track since I was hoping to go to Formula 1 the next year; since you couldn't test there we were looking at it as an investment in the future and we ended up winning the race! I think the track suits my driving style well since I always did fairly well there in F1, even when I didn't have the best car. The atmosphere is awesome as well so I'm very much looking forward to returning.
