Adrian Fernandez posted a strong run in the Molson Indy Montreal this afternoon, rebounding from a 16th-place starting position to finish eight. The result was Fernandez's eighth top-10 finish of the season. He is currently eighth in the championship point standings with 82 points.
Fernandez Racing will head to the Mile High City next weekend for the Centrix Financial Grand Prix of Denver, Round 15 of the Bridgestone Presents the Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford.

"In general, it was a good race. The car was better than I thought. I could fight and pass some guys on the track, and the team did a good job on the pit stops. We just need to work to get a better car to be able to run up front. I would like to congratulate Michel [Jourdain] on his second win. I am very happy for him."
