Another Top-10 Finish for Haberfeld

Milwaukee, WI (June 5, 2004) -- Brazilian driver Mario Haberfeld finished 10th this Saturday night at the Milwaukee Grand Prix, the third round of the 2004 Champ Car World Series. The Brazilian could have had a better night, but a couple of botched pit-stops cost the driver some positions. "We had a couple of lengthy pit-stops, which at a short track like this can put you behind an entire lap in a matter of seconds", said Haberfeld.

Overall, however, the Brazilian was satisfied with the set-up of the car. "I was fairly happy with the car throughout the weekend," said the driver, adding, "My only concern was that it felt heavy, which on an oval track can wear you down quickly. Luckily, there were several yellow flags that allowed me to rest my arms."

Haberfeld was satisfied with his placing in the only oval track of the series, but looks forward to improvement in future rounds. "My three races so far have been a mix of bad luck, mistakes, but also car improvement. If the entire team, including myself, can put together flawless races, I think we have a shot at being very competitive."

The next round of the 2004 Champ Car World Series is in Portland, Oregon, on June 20.
