Mario's at The Mile: Qualifying was rained out during the 2003 Champ Car race at the Milwaukee Mile, the field started based on practice times. Dominguez started the event from the 12th position and finished 8th.

Mario on Milwaukee: "It is always exciting to get to the next race when you are coming off a great finish at the previous event. We had a good weekend in Monterrey and as a team we have a lot of momentum going. The Milwaukee race is special. Of course there is so much history at this track and then turning it into a night event makes it even more exciting. Last year I didn't know what to expect with the light, but they did such a fantastic job it was just unbelievable. From a driver' s perspective, it is obviously a lot different from a daytime race, but the lighting is so good that it really doesn't make any difference, the lighting tone is just a little different, that is all. I enjoy racing on the ovals once in a while and we had a very successful test here so that of course gives me extra confidence. I am hoping for another strong finish."
