(West Allis, WI) April 28, 2004 - The Milwaukee Mile is pleased to announce Time Warner Cable and it's Road Runner High Speed Online service will sponsor the return of Champ Car World Series racing at night to the historic speedway on Saturday night, June 5.
The "Time Warner Cable Road Runner 250" will feature an international cast of the world's finest open wheel drivers, led by defending race winner Michel Jourdain, Jr, of Mexico. Jourdain scored his first series victory in the first-ever night race held in series history last May.
"We are ecstatic to have Time Warner Cable and it's Road Runner high-speed services brand join The Milwaukee Mile for the much-anticipated return of Champ Car racing 'at the speed of night'," exclaimed Mark Perrone, Vice President & General Manager of the track. Championship auto racing has been held on an annual basis since 1933 at The Milwaukee Mile.
"We are proud to support the Milwaukee Mile with the Time Warner Cable Road Runner 250, which will offer a thrilling weekend of racing entertainment, stated Carol Hevey, President Time Warner Cable Milwaukee Division. "This is an excellent avenue for Time Warner Cable to promote the high-speed advantages of our Road Runner Online services, which is 50 times faster than dial-up."

The remaining races on the series calendar are to be contested on temporary street courses and permanent road courses in Mexico, Canada, Australia, South Korea, and the United States.
Terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed.
