JIMMY VASSER, #12 American Spirit/Ford-Reynard/Cosworth
"The car is good; it is a great qualifying car. We should be in good shape for tomorrow, because it is excellent on new tires. We might make a change or two for the race; I'll have a better idea after a few more laps in practice tomorrow. Running at night at The Mile is awesome, the lights here are fantastic."
RYAN HUNTER-REAY, #31 American Spirit/Ford-Reynard/Cosworth
"The rear end of the car was feeling unstable throughout the session. We tried several changes, they didn't help. In the last stint, the team gave me a fresh set of tires and it just snapped. I had my first big hit on the oval, I am going to go through the telemetry and learn from it and we'll be back tomorrow. The #12 side is happy with their car, we'll talk to them and we'll get it figured out."
Notes: 1. Hunter-Reay made contact at the exit of turn two. The primary car is un-repairable; Hunter-Reay will drive the 31x the remainder of the Milwaukee event.
2. Jimmy Vasser will be a guest on "The Wind Tunnel with Dave Despain" immediately following qualifying, live from The Milwaukee Mile at 11:00 pm ET on SPEED.
