"The car this morning felt nothing like the car I drove yesterday. After 16 laps, we took it back to the garage and put it on the pad to see if we could find something wrong. We did find one shock issue, but we are not convinced that was is. The weather was completely different, a lot warmer and a lot more wind, so those elements probably factored into it a bit, but we are confused. We're going to start sixth tomorrow, it is a shame for all of us that we could get qualifying in tonight, but that's mother nature. I am optimistic for our race tomorrow, I have had a lot of success here and I am looking forward to a good race tomorrow night."

"The car has been inconsistent over the past two days. The guys and Tess did a great job getting the car together for me today; they had a late one last night. The loose car last night coupled with the cold tires, it was a bad combination, but what is that the skiers say "if you don't fall down you are not trying hard enough." We used Jimmy's set-up from yesterday on the car today, it wasn't any better, but it wasn't any good for him either, so I think it had a lot to do with the elements here today, it was much warmer, much windier and the track had changed a ton. So our best bet will be to stick with what we know is good for the track at night, fine tune it a bit and go for it tomorrow."
