Herdez-backed driver, Michel Jourdain Jr. wrapped up this Friday, his three-day testing session at the 1.25-mile circuit of Firebird International Raceway, in Phoenix.

Michel Jourdain Jr., Car #16, Herdez/Bettenhausen Motorsports: "I am very happy with all the improvements. We tested many things and we've got very valuable information, mainly for circuits such as Long Beach. Now we know better the car, the chassis has several different things in comparison with last year's Lola (chassis). I am very happy with my team and we are looking forward to go back to Homestead for more testing."

Tom Brown, Managing Director/Chief Engineer, Herdez/Bettenhausen: "I am very happy with this testing. Early we made our best time (48.24 seconds); it was a run on time on the heat of the day, which was better. We have a lot of miles. Today we concentrated mainly in front and rear suspension geometry. We made very good changes on the car. We made a lot of progress and we had a better engine. Overall I am very pleased with the test."

The team will go back home (Indy), where they will work on the cars before heading Homestead, for the next testing session starting on March 10.
