Herdez/Bettenhausen Motorsports driver Michel Jourdain Jr. finished 18th in the Miller Lite 225 race.
Michel Jourdain Jr., Car #16, Herdez/Bettenhausen Motorsports: "I am happy, the car, the engine, the tires, etc. all was well. The problem is that it was not easy to overtake with this wings (for short ovals) and it hurt us very much, the fact that we had just one car available this weekend, instead of the regular two. Also, it hurt us that we could not run the last practice (before the qualifying session). Having such a short track time, we did not get a good qualifying position. Of course, starting from the back put us in a very difficult situation for the race."
He added: "However, nobody overtook us, but this was not enough. The Herdez/Bettenhausen Motorsports team did a great job and every race they are doing even better. Now, I am looking forward the Mid-Ohio testing session (Wednesday and Thursday). We are going to learn a lot there, in preparation for the next circuits that we will visit."
