HILLIARD, Ohio (January 20) -- The second day of testing for the McDonald's Championship Racing Team at Laguna Seca Raceway just outside of Monterey, California, has been canceled due to inclement weather.

Bryan Herta took the new Swift 011.c chassis powered by Honda through its initial paces in a shakedown test yesterday, but the team was unable to continue today.

"It's just too foggy to run," said Herta. "It's gotten a lot colder and it is still raining, but the main problem is the fog. We have no alternative but to pack up."

The team will resume its testing program next week when it heads to Phoenix, Arizona, for a two-day session at Phoenix International Raceway.
