Brazilian driver Max Wilson drove his Arciero Brooke Racing Phoenix/Lola/Firestone car for the first time this Friday during a systems' check at the Putnam Park 1.766-mile circuit, located in Indiana, in preparation for his test sessions through the next weeks. The session went well and the only problem experienced were the changing weather conditions.

"I think it was very good we came to Putnam Park for checking the car at the track. It was a shame that we did not have better weather and we prefer to save the engine mileage for better weather conditions in our first test session, which will be at Laguna Seca (February 14 & 15)," said Max Wilson.

"Our test in California is very important, not only because of the information that we can get about the car's performance on road courses, also because we are going to race there during the season," he added.

"The reason we do the systems' check is to sort out any mechanical issues that might occur during a race weekend. I am very pleased how the things went today, despite having rainy and windy conditions throughout the session," said Barry Brooke, President of Arciero Brooke Racing.

"The team worked very well in their first outing together and everybody at Arciero Brooke Racing is looking forward to test in Laguna Seca," Brooke said.
