Race Recap: Oriol Servia started the race in 13th position and finished 11th after completing 79 laps on the 1.968-mile temporary street course. Servia, who was running seventh when his car had mechanical problems, was unable to finish the 90-lap race. Teammate Scott Dixon, who started 19th on the grid and finished 18th, also had mechanical failure, which ended his day at lap 30. Dixon was running full rich and working his way up the grid when his car gave out.

Starting position: 13th
Finishing position: 11th
"We did a lot of work over the weekend and really improved the car, so it's really too bad we didn't finish the race," said Servia. "We had a very good car during the race and stuck with a basic strategy and hung in there taking opportunities when we could. I thought we would have finished in the top five, but at least we'll go home with some points. It's really a shame because we had a good car - I think the turbo just stopped working. There are still a lot of races to go and we continue to improve the car, so I'm very optimistic about the season. The next race is an oval at Motegi, so we'll have a completely different set-up and after that we'll have a good base and be able to find our weak points."

Starting position: 19th
Finishing position: 18th
"Obviously it was a very disappointing day, especially after running so well this morning," said Dixon. "We changed our strategy and pitted early (lap 2) to get out of traffic. We had a bit of a problem in the pits, but when I went back out I pushed hard at full-rich and then a full-course yellow was called and I was able to move up a few more spots. It's really too bad because I thought our luck was going to turn around."
