“I’d say I had the closest thing to the perfect lap that we cold get today. Of course, you never really get the perfect lap. But we were right at the edge all the way around the track. On the very next lap, I tried to brake even deeper into a chicane and I just plain missed it. It was a great effort by the whole gang. We didn’t get to run nearly as much as we needed to this morning (in practice) because of the drizzling at the start of the session. So it was a crapshoot going into qualifying, and we seemed to get it right. We still have tomorrow, but after getting off to a great start today, it makes everybody pumped to come back and go faster tomorrow. We’re back!” -- Tony Kanaan
