Indianapolis, IN (April 4, 2005) -- HVM Inc. is proud to announce its 2005 Champ Car drivers, F3000 Champion Bjorn Wirdheim of Sweden and 8-time Karting Champion, Ronnie Bremer of Denmark.

Managing Director since 2001, Keith Wiggins has led his team to three victories and eight podium finishes. Rapidly becoming a championship contender, HVM finish fifth in the series Championship in 2004. Entering one of the most competitive seasons in Champ Car history, Wiggins has high expectations of his newest team members, Wirdheim and Bremer, "I am very happy to welcome Bjorn and Ronnie to the team. They are two fantastic drivers, both who are capable of winning the championship. It has certainly been a tough winter for HVM, but as a team we are more determined than ever and we expect to have a very strong season. Champ Car's direction is very positive and this is the series in which HVM has always been committed. We are excited for the future."

Bjorn Wirdheim, 25 of Vaxjo, Sweden will drive the #4 HVM/Ford-Cosworth/Lola, he joins HVM from the Jaguar Racing Formula One Team, where he was the team test and reserve driver throughout the 2004 FIA World Championship. A three-time racing Champion, he won the 2003 F3000 Championship with Arden Motorsports and will compete for the third Rookie of the Year title of his racing career, this time in a Champ Car. While 2005 will be Wirdheim's first season in Champ Car, he is familiar with the 800 horsepower thoroughbreds; Patrick Racing, PKV Racing and Dale Coyne Racing all tested Sweden's fastest driver prior to his signing with HVM. "This is fantastic. Ever since I came to the United States to test with Patrick Racing a few years ago, I've been wanting to return to compete in Champ Car," stated Wirdheim from his residence in Aylesbury, England." He continued, "I am very pleased to fight for the championship with HVM because they are one of the most professional teams in the series. I am confident we will race for wins from the start. I think Champ Car will suit me as a driver, I've enjoyed a lot of success in F3000 and the cars are quite similar. I have been following Champ Car for several years and I can see the organization is growing stronger every year and I am confident this is the place to be with some of the most competitive racing in the world."

Ronnie Bremer, 26 of Copenhagen, Denmark will drive the #55 HVM/Ford-Cosworth/Lola. A product of the Champ Car Ladder System, Bremer joins HVM from the Toyota Atlantic Series, where he scored a victory and five podium finishes in 2004 during his rookie season. A Champ Car rookie in 2005, Bremer has diversified racing experience, achieving success in the Danish Touring Car Championship, British Formula 3 and Formula Ford. "This is a dream come true. Champ Car has been a goal of mine since I started racing and I can't wait to get started in Long Beach. I had a very good test with HVM in Sebring. I was impressed with their teamwork and their communication between cars. The engineering staff is top-notch and I knew this was the team I wanted to drive for," commented Bremer. "I may be a Rookie this season, but I am not new to Champ Car. Coming from Atlantic I know many of the tracks. I believe my teammate and I will push each other, I am confidant we will be a strong combination. Thanks to my manager, Rick Gorne and Champ Car for their hard work."
