JOURDAIN JR. TAKES 23RD POSITION IN HOUSTON

Herdez-Viva Mexico! Team driver Michel Jourdain Jr. will start from 23rd spot (1.00.989) in the Grand Prix of Houston this Sunday. Jourdain Jr. had a good run on Friday and was able to run among the top ten, but finally grabbed the 13th spot. Unfortunately, today the changes made in the balance of the car weren't good enough to help him to improve his qualifying position and he had to qualify with his yesterday's time.

Michel Jourdain Jr., Car #19 Herdez-Viva Mexico! Team: "Yesterday the car had some oversteer and the engineer made some changes to cure the problem. Then, the car developed a lot of push and the tires degraded mainly the right front. This affected our performance. It was very disappointing"

Antonio Marron, Motorsports Director of the Herdez-Viva Mexico! Team: "We lost ten places today. It was very disappointing. The team is working on the problem and hopefully tomorrow Michel will have a better balanced car."
