Conquest Racing's Matt Halliday Starting on Seventh Row Tomorrow in Houston

Houston, Texas, April 21, 2007 -- The Conquest Racing team along with driver Matt Halliday will start on the 7th row of the grid in tomorrow's Grand Prix of Houston after the final qualifying round took place today. The team made a good effort to improve the car from yesterday's first round of qualifying but fell short. They still have momentum to fight hard in the race and are eager to improve their position.

42 BELOW driver Matt Halliday is getting more and more comfortable competing in the Champ Car World Series but the team is still fighting to find an optimal setup on the car, and with the track conditions here in Houston it is very tricky to find a good balance. However, driver Matt Halliday is ready to battle the bumpy track tomorrow and is looking toward completing his first Champ Car race with Conquest Racing.

"I think since yesterday we did not make as much progress with the car as I hoped. We just need to find another half of a second. It is difficult with one car to find the direction we need to go but we are going to keep working hard. We are not miles away and once we find a good combination of small things we will get a little more speed out of the car. This afternoon we will have a good debrief and see what we can do to improve for the race."
