Paul Tracy Continues With Strong Performance at Sebring

Sebring, Florida -- January 25th, 2007 -- Forsythe Championship Racing completed the first test of the 2007 Champ Car World Series Season with a strong showing that saw Paul Tracy place among the Top-3 quickest cars during all three days. Rain and cold conditions kept the Forsythe Team away from the track during the morning session today but during the afternoon conditions improved and Tracy was able to hit the track and continue his testing program turning a lap of 50.925 seconds (117.985mph) which placed him third in the standings. The second Champ Car pre-season test will take place at the Houston MSR Road Course February 12-13.

Paul Tracy (#3 INDECK Ford-Cosworth/Bridgestone/Panoz)

"I'm very satisfied with how this test went. Today the conditions changed quite a bit throughout the day and the car reacted just as we expected, we were able to make some changes and gain speed gradually throughout the day. The car feels pretty good, we had a good three days of testing and we are looking forward to the next one. It's great to be back in a Champ Car, it's been a long off season for me and all I'm focusing on now is winning the Championship!"

Phil LePan, Team Manager

"The Forsythe Team did a great job this week. We've been preparing for this test for a long time and although we had a few mechanical glitches, overall it was a good test and we gathered a lot of valuable data. The new Panoz overall has turned out to be a great race car and it looks like it's going to be a very exciting Season. Now it's time to go back to our shop and analyze all the information and prepare for the next test at the Houston MSR Road Course."
