"The car was really good on old tires on this morning. This afternoon, on new tires, I could hardly do the times I did this morning. There is definitely something wrong. The car was just push/loose everywhere. There was no control. The car was very tight, very nice this morning, and now it's all over the place. This morning we had over 40 laps on those tires. We just need to find the problem and come back strong tomorrow."

"At the beginning of the session this afternoon, I had a very nervous car. Maybe this is because of the CASCAR practice before us. The track was much worse than this morning and I was struggling to find the balance in these conditions. At the end of the session, my car was getting better but it was still not enough. We just have to think about the track change and work on a different setup. This morning the car was pretty good, and this afternoon it was much worse."

Tom Anderson, Owner/Team Manager:
"I think we found a pretty good balance with both cars this morning, but the track lost some grip and we weren't able to capitalize on it. I think we went the wrong way on some changes, but I think both [engineers] John [Ward] and Martin [Par0x00e9] have got a good handle on it for this afternoon. We scrubbed some tires because we have a feeling the rain man is coming for tomorrow, and we are getting some things prepared for Sunday. I think both drivers are pretty happy with the race track and the improvements that CART has made. All in all, I'm pretty pleased. We'll see how we deal with the rain tomorrow."
